Westfork Trail: Sedona, AZ. This was my first overnight backpacking trip. It was quite fabulous. Great temps, beautiful scenery and the most Amazing Man to save me from the bears… Bears were my biggest fear. Why? Probably because the biggest sign at the trail head is welcomes you to BEAR COUNTRY. AHHHH! We hiked a total of 6.4 miles. We did part of this trail last year, but this time we can say we did Westfork in it’s entirety. There were 15 creek crossings which helped us to keep cool and the average temp was 8 degrees cooler than in Sedona. At night it was quite chilly! These are just a few pics of our Adventure exploring mother nature.

Heading out today to find some geocache! Sunday was our first successful day with our new GPS. Ami and Jevon joined us from The Happy Meals on their first Geocaching Adventure. It was very HOT, but we were 2 for 2. There are only two more in the park and we are setting out today to find both.
