Successful furniture re-finish.  I really love how the color adds to the space.  It was fairly easy and painless, aside from the extreme heat and humidity which only made me work more quickly.  The only thing left to do is to change out the top hardware in the near future.  I was able to give this china cabinet a new life with paint we already had.  I think it is $50 well spent.  Thanks to my hubby for his lifting skills :-)

The ball is moving right along.  I found some paint leftover from the previous homeowners and decided to save a buck and give it a shot.  I love the crimson!  No primer, just Valspar interior paint.  I like the brown showing through a lot.  Now if only paint could dry on command.
