This took me awhile to finish and then take pics to post. To see the before and during pics see my original posts.

I wanted to keep the bench simple, so I recovered it with some scrap material and batting for cushion.  The old stuff was really OLD!  I sanded down the wood and cleaned it several times.  I think I eventually want to paint this duo, but not quite yet.  For now I’m content with the natural wood.  I needed to be able to use the bench quickly and it is the perfect height.  No more bulky chair.

This is my inspiration board/ girly stuff Sky doesn’t want to look at above my work area. The mini sewing machine on the left is from Sky’s Grandma Donna.  It really still works!  Technology has come a long way!
