All the presents are wrapped, house is clean, baking is done… time to rest and relax. We are looking forward to spending time with friends and family over the next few days.  Tomorrow we will visit Grandma Ann in the skilled nursing facility and spend the evening with family at Auntie Gail’s house.  

Christmas morning Sky and I are hosting the family at our house for breakfast.  For as long as I can remember breakfast was always served at Grandma’s house. Unfortunately Grandma will not be home for Christmas after her recent hip surgery.  We would always have sausage, egg and corn-flake casserole and then open presents Santa brought to grandma and grandpa’s house.  Great memories!   Christmas evening we will go to my parents house with Sky’s family and have a yummy dinner :-)  The celebrating does not stop until after we celebrate my birthday on the the 26th.  Whew… I’m going to need recovery time for sure after this holiday season!  Good thing I have off the next week.
