Today was a busy day full of Financial Learning Opportunities. I spent the morning engaged in a session called Engaging Girls in Economics and Geni Revolution. We had a Recognition Luncheon and an afternoon of walking the Windy Cindy. We took the Financial District Walking tour and got to see some Occupy Wall Street protesters firsthand. It was a mix of the Financial District Old and New Architecture with an emphasis on Frank Lloyd Wright. I wish we had more time to go to Oak Park, IL to see more of his work. It was a perfect balance of Personal Finance and Housing and Interior Design = My subjects taught :-)
On the way back from our walking tour Alison and I ventured off to find Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria. It was absolutely necessary for us to find some deep dish pizza on our trip and this was the perfect place to kill two hours before our tour this evening.

We chose to get the Lou: A pizza so good we gave it his name! Fresh spinach, mushrooms and sliced tomatoes covered with a blend of mozzarella, romano and cheddar cheese. Yum Yum!
After dinner we headed 5 min away to the start of The Ganster Tour. It was a trip back to the 20’s and 30’s. Cheesy, but fun! Now we have to watch the Untouchables as soon as we get home!

A great end to the evening was watching the tail end of the Card Game! Way to go CARDS!
