This week has been by far the most crazy week of the year… Not just school year, but year.  Before the school year even started I was dreaming about my fourth year at Lafayette High School.  I dreamed it would be oh so easy.  Boy was I wrong.  This year has been anything but easy, but so rewarding.  It began with a new class I had never taught, which is sure to keep any teacher on the edge… all the time.  Then it got more busy with taking on more responsibilities… Sponsor, Leader, Teacher, Wife, second job and then soon to be mom.  I have definitely got my hands full.  

This week has been one of those eye opening ones.  I have really enjoyed my students in a different way this week.  Maybe its because we’re finally getting comfortable with each other.  Maybe its because its Homecoming Week…  I don’t know, but they are so fabulous (most of them).  I decided to tell them I was pregnant and some of the responses I got were funny, akward and a little off the deep end.  My favorite was a student who said:  ”oh girl, I knew you were, you were getting a pooch.”   I was flattered when they wanted me to name the baby after each one of them and they all want to babysit.  Here’s a little of my joy and happiness from my students this week in pictures.  I love my kiddos!
