Day 2 of Spring Break. Starting the day off with a nutrition class by my hubby: TrainwithSky: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/trainwithsky-bootcamp.
Last night we built the baby’s shelves for the nursery. This is the final DIY project. I am certain Sky will be excited when they are all done. They need a good sanding and coat of paint and installation. I think we better hurry because I’m finding complete strangers feel the need to tell me how big I am and how I need to hurry up and get things done before the baby comes.
Looking forward to spending some more time outside today enjoying this beautiful SPRING weather :-) Dinner with our parents and one more baby class today.

This weekend went by incredibly fast! Saturday we enjoyed the beautiful weather by starting our own vegetable garden in the backyard. I’m so anxious to see how it does, hopefully we will get some goodies this summer!
Sunday was an 8 hour crash course on childbirth. I think Sky learned a lot of helpful tips about how to help me through a labor with no pain meds. We are planning a totally natural birth. Taking the class made the pregnancy so much more real. Only 7 more weeks. Where did the time go? Needles to say we were both exhausted last night after our packed weekend and the time change.

Week 32 of the baby bump. I’m feeling pretty good these days despite a little discomfort while sleeping and a little water retention. I just had a check up Monday and the baby is growing and moving a ton. We just had our first baby shower this past weekend with my girlfriends which was a huge success, thank you Lauren Arnet! Pics to come soon. We are putting the finishing touches on the room this weekend and looking forward to our first baby class on Sunday. Only 8 more weeks.
The dresser is done! My Uncle Charlie made this dresser for me when I was a little girl. It’s not quite as old as me, but pretty darn close. Originally it was all white. We decided to update it a bit with some color on the front and new hardware. I absolutely love this piece because it is so well constructed. Side Note: Uncle Charlie constructs only top quality products! I think it works for a little girl or boy… oh how I want to know what we are having. Only 8 more weeks.
I know a certain little girl that will be turning 2 this month and I thought this would be perfect for her. The tutorial is easy to follow and it provides an educational gift. I happened to have everything on hand I needed (even a little student labor. AKA my cadet who helped a ton) and it was free! Can’t beat free! I also made a little fabric bag to hold the numbers and here is how they turned out:

This is another Pinteret inspired projects from: http://createstudio.blogspot.com/2010/04/beanbag-numbers-tutorial.html
Last night I had a dream Peanut was trying to escape from my belly. His/Her foot came out of my stomach and I had to push it back in. I think I’m getting a little anxioius and excited for his/her arrival. I remember in my sleep thinking… “could this really happen? I need to google it when I wake up.” Oh geez.
Only 9 more weeks until we get to meet our little Peanut and I have been keeping soon to be Daddy busy with little honey dos and myself as well. Sometimes Peanut gives me a kick as a reminder to slow down Momma… you’re going to need rest before I come into this world, which is so darn true.
March is shaping up to be a pretty busy month. The lovely ladies in my life are blessing me with 3 showers, we have signed up for two classes @ the hospital, a class @ REI (for the hubs), Spring Break and two doctors appointments. I hope I find some time for NESTING in between all these other great things.
Handsome little man!
